16 Disney Channel Actors Every 2000s Girl Had A Crush On

Updated: Sep 3

Disney Channel: the first place to introduce us to what it really felt like to have a celebrity crush.

David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place)

David Henrie played Justin Russo in the smash series, Wizards of Waverly Place. Although he was Alex's uptight big brother on the show, we're sure he was probably way more fun in person.

Zac Efron (High School Musical)

Let's be honest, without Zac Efron, the High School Musical franchise just wouldn't be the same. Zac's winning smile, team attitude, and blue eyes had every girl crushing. Plus, a guy who can sing and play basketball? That's the whole package right there.

Joe Jonas (Camp Rock, Jonas)

Around the time Joe Jonas took off his purity ring, he was featured in Disney's Camp Rock and was one of the star actors in the not-so-great Jonas sitcom series. At the time, Joe definitely reigned as the most desired Jonas brother. Nick still had a babyface and Kevin was already in a serious relationship with his future wife Danielle which pretty much left Joe as the most eligible bachelor.

Jason Dolley (Good Luck Charlie)

Jason Dolley played P.J. the oldest sibling of the Dunkin family on Disney's Good Luck Charlie. While Bridgit Mendler was more the star of the show, Jason got a decent amount of screen time. His character had a good sense of humor and was good with kids- two traits most girls are always looking for.

Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana)

Mitchell Musso played Oliver Oken in all four seasons of Hannah Montana and in Hannah Montana: The Movie. Although Oliver and Hannah were always just friends, Mitchell's character did have a small romance with the character Lily who was played by Emily Osment. Oliver was a nerdy character, but for some reason everyone adored him. Must have been that classic hairstyle.

Lucas Till (Hannah Montana: The Movie)

If you didn't have a crush on Lucas Till from seeing him play Travis in Hannah Montana: The Movie, you had a crush on him from his small role in Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me music video. Either way, we can't blame you. Lucas was cute in both his roles as a hardworking cowboy and a popular football player.

Cole Sprouse (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody)

Cole Sprouse played the dorky twin Cody Martin in two of Disney's most popular series ever, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life On Deck. Girls liked his character for his sensitive and sweet personality. Just like fine wine, Cole Sprouse has aged well. As any fan of Riverdale can tell you, Cole definitely experienced a glow-up in his twenties.

Dylan Sprouse (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody)

Dylan Sprouse starred alongside his brother Cole on the Disney Channel over six years. While quiet and gentle girls had a crush on Cody, the more wild and rebellious girls were into Zack. Dylan's character defined what it meant to be a player in middle school, but as time went on Disney developed his character further and fans enjoyed watching him become a thoughtful brother and boyfriend. Zack's crazy ideas and goofy personality really made the show in all honesty.

Ross Lynch (Austin & Ally, Teen Beach Movie)

Ross Lynch played Austin, an up and coming musician on Austin & Ally, and Brady, a surfer boy, in Teen Beach Movie. Ross's combination of singing, acting, and dancing skills made him a triple threat on the Disney Channel. Although his legacy falls short when compared to Zac Efron, Joe Jonas, and others.

Blake Michael (Lemonade Mouth)

In case you forgot, Blake played the drummer, Charlie, in the 2011 film. With understated angst and a perfect jawline, his character Charlie won him lifelong fans. But wait until you read this. Your mind is going to be blown. Blake Michael was thirteen during the filming of Lemonade Mouth. Thirteen and he looked like that! No braces, no acne, no babyface... I mean c'mon, dude, you're making us all feel bad.

Corbin Bleu (Jump In!, High School Musical)

Corbin Bleu played Chad in the High School Musical franchise. and starred as Izzy in his own DCOM, Jump In!. He always had an athletic role. First, a basketball player and then a boxer/ jump roper. If there is one thing we love most about Corbin Bleu circa 2006 it is his flawless curly locks.

Matt Prokop (Geek Charming)

Matt Prokop played the geek in the original movie, Geek Charming, but he certainly didn't look too geeky to anyone. Before Geek Charming, Matt played Jimmie Zara, or 'rocket man' in High School Musical 3. Remember the freshman on the Wildcats b-ball team who was *obsessed* with Troy? He snuck into Troy's bedroom to take pictures and then Troy hazed him by stealing his clothes and making him run all around East High with just a towel? Yeah, That was Matt.

Jordan Fisher (Teen Beach Movie)

Jordan Fisher was one of the surfer dudes in Teen Beach Movie. By looking at the above picture, you can probably figure out why everyone liked him.

Gregg Sulkin (Avalon High)

Gregg Sulkin played Will the popular football player/ most likely reincarnation of King Arthur in the film Avalon High. He was also Alex Russo's werewolf boyfriend on Wizards of Waverly Place. What you probably didn't know about Gregg when you were watching him on Disney Channel is that he's actually British. I guess that explains why he always seemed so cool on T.V.

Shane Harper (Good Luck Charlie)

Shane Harper was a returning guest star to Good Luck Charlie. He played Teddy's two-timing boyfriend Spencer, but everyone forgave that because he played guitar and was 6'2".

Roshon Fegan (Camp Rock, Shake It Up)

Roshon knows how to dance and that was made apparent in both Shake It Up and Camp Rock. We honestly wish Disney would have given him so more featured roles because the world needs more of those dimples and that smug smile.

Garrett Clayton (Teen Beach Movie)

Last but not least, Garret Clayton. We have a conspiracy theory that this is really who Taylor Swift was singing about in her hit track, Gorgeous because there is no other way to describe this boy's looks. His character, Tanner, may have been a bit of an airhead, but he was definitely sweet.

That concludes our very short list of throwback Disney cuties. So, which lad was your crush back in the day? Let us know in the comments!
